Looks like the Bushies are getting ready to drop a budget bomb on Tuesday. $80B for Iraq and Afghanistan. Add that to the $25B already pledged this fiscal year, and we're talking over a hundred billion since the beginning of October '04 (we're only in the beginning of the second quarter of this federal fiscal cycle). Funny how this was held until a few days after the Inauguration but is being dropped just a few days before those oh-so-essential Iraqi elections. Priorities, priorities.
